Who we are

Industry Tools Company New Zealand, at industrytools.co.nz. Our contact address for privacy questions is theteam@industrytools.co.nz.

What we collect and why

To send you an order we need your name, delivery address, email address and the items ordered. We keep that because we have to: it is the record of a sale, and it is what a courier, a refund and an accountant each need.

We never see your card details. Payment is handled by the payment provider on its own systems; this site receives confirmation that a payment succeeded and nothing more.

We collect anonymous analytics about how the site is used, in aggregate, to see which pages are useful.

Who it goes to

The courier, so the parcel arrives. The payment provider, so the payment works. Nobody else, and we do not sell personal information.

Cookies

The basket uses your browser's local storage to remember what is in it. That stays in your browser. See the cookie policy.

Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to correct it. Email theteam@industrytools.co.nz and we will answer within 20 working days, which is what the Act allows.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
