What we sell

Nineteen products across eight categories: hand tools, power tools, cutting and abrasive tools, fastening tools, measuring and inspection tools, material handling equipment, and safety tools and equipment. The range runs from a $33 pick and hook set to an $1,819 insulated electricians set, which is a fair description of who buys from us: working trades and the people who supply them.

How we describe things

Product pages quote the manufacturer's own specifications: the rated capacity, the filter class, the noise reduction figure, the cutting depth. We do not round those, we do not improve on them, and where a figure in the marketing copy disagreed with the specification we kept the specification.

For protective equipment there is a line we do not cross. We will tell you what a product is certified to and what its maker states. We will not tell you it is suitable for your hazard, because that is decided by your own assessment and by the marking on the product, not by a shop.

How we sell

Online only. There is no showroom and no trade counter, which is how the price stays where it is. Orders are handled in 24 to 48 hours and delivered in 5 to 7 days anywhere in New Zealand.

Delivery is $25, and free once your order reaches $100. Express delivery is available on any order for a flat $25, including orders that already qualify for free delivery. No GST is added at the checkout.

Buying with confidence

New Zealand gives no cooling-off period on an online purchase, so the 15 days this shop allows you to change your mind is its own policy rather than a right you have by statute. If something is faulty, not as described or not fit for the job, that is different and stronger: the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies, it cannot be contracted out of, and we pay the return postage. Our refunds and returns policy sets out both.
